Hi everyone! If you’re a veteran around here, you may remember the old Discord news series “Feature of the Week.” Well, we’re excited to announce that it’s back, and on this very website! Every Sunday, we’ll be releasing a quick blog post about a custom Parallel feature that you may or may not know about, along with cool fun facts about said feature. Hopefully this blog series allows you to learn a bit more about the ins and outs of what you can explore on Parallel!
So, without further ado, let’s begin with a feature that contributes to the atmospheric ambience of Parallel, shooting stars!
If you look up into the clear night sky, you might see a shooting star pass by, so make a wish! Even ~rarer~ are the stars that fall to the ground. If you don’t happen to see one fall, you might hear one from the resonating sound it makes on impact. Falling stars contain rare loot inside, so be sure to find where it fell in order to pick up valuable items like diamonds, emeralds, fire charges, and EXP!
